In June 1970 Lorenzo Petroni and Bruno Orsi started North Beach Restaurant. We vowed to serve the finest Cucina Toscana possible. The chef has put together one of the most diversified and extensive menus on the west coast. He uses only the finest and freshest ingredients. We make our own pasta. We buy the finest veal, fish and beef possible and the freshest vegetable. We cure our own prosciuto the old fashion way. Lorenzo produces the first Brunello made in California and his own ev olive oil. We have an award winning wine list with 500 wines from all over the world. If you leave San Francisco without eating at the North Beach Restaurant, you have not been in San Francisco.
